InterActions Residential Treatment Center
InterActions Residential Treatment Center is a short-term residential facility for adults with chronic and persistent mental illness, including those with a mild developmental disability. The focus is an active recovery-based treatment model. Clients are involved in individual therapy, group therapy, psycho-educational groups and activity therapy. The principles and practices of this program create a model of care that moves from maintenance in care to expectations of recovery. The goal is to better understand the illness, medication management, and help reintegrate clients back into the community.
This is a 16-bed secured facility located in the Campus Center at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, 300 68th Street, S.E. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Length of stay will vary depending on the severity of the illness. Clients are referred to Pine Rest from community mental health centers throughout Michigan.

The interdisciplinary team working on site includes: psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, therapists, activity therapists, social workers/case managers, chaplains, and residential care staff. Staff are present 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
