Northern Michigan Services
The Suttons Bay Office provides Suttons Bay and the surrounding community in
Leelanau County with quality mental health counseling services. Psychiatric evaluations,
testing, and medication services, if needed, can be arranged through the Traverse
City Clinic. Services are available to children, adolescents, and adults through
individual and family therapy as appropriate. We strive to provide quality and
professional services in a timely, comprehensive, and compassionate manner.

- Comprehensive assessment and evaluation
- Counseling and therapy for children, adults, and families
- Consultation with pastors, physicians, and school officials
- Referrals for inpatient treatment
- Psychiatric evaluations (arranged through the Traverse City Clinic)
- Psychological and neuropsychological testing (arranged through the Traverse
City Clinic)
Payment
Many insurance companies and health plans-including HMOs-cover our services. Check with your insurance/health plan or company benefits and insurance office to be sure your plan provides coverage. If you have Medicaid, it may also pay for services. Insurance issues can be complex. Our staff can assist if you have any questions.
Through the generosity of individuals and churches in the area, a Patient Assistance Fund is available to supplement costs for people who can't pay the entire cost of counseling. You can confidentially discuss your financial situation with us when you initially call, or through your individual therapist.
